Alexandria Projects And Commercial Company was formed 1980 by Mr. Farouk Rageh, Mr.Rageh is the Chairman of the company, The trade name of the Company is APACO.

Alexandria Company for Animal Production and Agricultural Development is the Sister Company for APACO, and owns an animal feed mill producing final cattle feed in the form of billets. The trade name of the company is ACAPAD.

APACO owns 25,000 square meters near the feed mill of ACAPAD in Al-Amreya, Km. 34 Alexandria - Cairo desert road. This site contains a warehouse, workshop for maintenance and repair for the equipment items that we sell.

The company business activities involve importing machinery and acting as authorized sales agent for many foreign suppliers. The company also handles many construction and equipment installation projects on a turn-key basis.

The company has 35 permanent employees representing the Engineers, sales men, and administrative and clerical help. The company also has approximately 72 temporary employees that report directly to the project sites when they are needed.

The annual sales for the past three years have been approximately 12 million U.S. Dollars.

APACO as well as ACAPAD has very good reputation with major government clients and in fact it is a particular strength of our company. Our location in Alexandria enables us to take advantage of the free zone and the ability to service projects and customer in the Delta and along Cairo-Alexandria Desert road.

Because of our work with the government sector we are very used to dealing with the ministry of agriculture and other governmental agencies in getting our projects approved, assisting our customer in getting their necessary permits and helping our international suppliers sell their products in the Egyptian market.

We have not ignored the private sector and intend to expand our activities in this area as it continues to grow.

APACO has available under contract, various consultants from university professors and other experts who assist APACO in finding solution to customer problems, doing feasibility studies and giving technical advice to APACO clients.
